Give Cookies...

...in pottery bowls, wrapped in a kitchen towel and tied with a bow. The bowls came from the Wal-Mart clearance rack after Christmas last year. This one cost me just over $1. I found a new dishtowel stashed away, and embroidered a little something special on it, then dug around in my ribbon and bow box for something to tie around it! This makes a nice, inexpensive hostess gift, or a thank you for someone watching your kiddos free of charge (can you guess what this one is for? ;)

Cookies also taste just as good in a brown paper bag tied with Christmas ribbon and a cute hang tag.

Thanks to Alaina for hosting Keeping Creative Kitchens every Thursday. Now it's your turn - join in!!!

What a great gift! I am also a HUGE fan of clearance racks! I got 5 dishtowels the other day for 25 cents! I am just not creative like you. I'll be sure to file this away for later though.

I recognize that ribbon...it's on all of our wreaths that we put on our windows...I guess I put that on a gift for you one year!

That is the cutest idea ever...I'm glad to see you still have your touch =)

FYI cookie dough is on sale at Kroger right now...it comes down to about 45 cents for a dozen cookies. It's a HUGE tube of Pillsbury dough. If only I cut coupons, they'd be paying me to bake cookies...anyway, I don't know if that's cheaper than homemade, but it's gotta be close!

Too bad I spent my night cleaning baseboards and toiltes, maybe I could have done something creative =P
