A day full of submersions

It started at 7:15 in the morning, while I was in the shower. I heard what sounded like little hands in water. Sure enough, there were two hairbows and a floppy disk in the toilet. Great.
We went downstairs to make breakfast, and I noticed Kathryn had disappeared. I stopped to listen, and heard some very pleasant squeals coming from the guest bath. Sure enough, one of her favorite musical toys (which is no longer musical) had also been submerged.
But the worst one of all... Not even an hour later, my not-even-two-month-old-$300-cell-phone (which we got for free)... yes... in the bathtub. Only this time, it was my fault.
What did I learn today? Keep all toilet lids down when not in use, and NEVER talk on the cell phone while washing baby. Expensive day.
(Word just came from the money maker, and he says we will be replacing my very-cool-phone with a not-so-cool phone. Sad, sad)

You know how MOM is hurting for such a big mistake. I was tickled until the end and I gasped.
Cute titles for your journal.
Love, MOM

Oh I so laughed at this....AND I loved how you call Brad "the money maker"

So funny...

Doing well...sorry I won't be there to see you in a few weeks. I think you totally did that on purpose....

And to think I secretly programed my # in your phone at Matt's wedding rehersal while checking out your cool phone. What a waste of time.
Since it was a razor in the bathtub, wander if you could shave with it?
I think I might begin to market some new toys and call them "Toddler Toilet Toys". If they are a hit, Kathryn will be receiving some nice royalty checks and if you are nice to her maybe she will buy you a new phone. :) sg

Ha, that's pretty funny, even though it was expensive. Did you get a razr phone? Matt got me one because I needed one...and he wanted one of us to have a decent one. The sad thing is that now I don't really have anyone to call. I only use it to report in when I'm out by myself. :(

I like SG's idea, shave with the razr...if its any comfort to you, I hope to get the second generation razer phone in the next couple of weeks(mp3 ringtones :))

Unfortunately, Anonymous, that's really no consolation to me whatsoever. Unless, of course, you plan on donating it to me once it's paid for...
