Will I ever catch up?

Kathryn is into everything. Wow! This morning alone she managed to dump the basket of pens (and we're not talking about 10 pens here, we're talking 50) and scatter them all over the office before I managed to see her. Then she dumped out her little plastic hair barrettes from her high chair so that they scattered all over the kitchen floor. Then she crawled all over the blanket I was making (the whole time I was trying to pin the binding on it) and spit up on it two different times!!! AARRRGGG!!! She is not "officially" crawling, but she is getting wherever she wants to go, and that's all that matters! She gets up on her hands and knees, moves one knee and one hand, drops, and repeats, in a very quick amount of time until she reaches the object in the room that I would least like for her to have. I still haven't started table food, but she is obsessed with drinking out of a glass. I'm sure it's just the novelty of it, but she acts like she really loves water :o). Hopefully she'll be a late walker :). In the mean time, I try my best to keep her confined.

Also, our friends Adam and Rosie just found out yesterday that they are having a little girl!!! We were all so sure it would be a boy, that it was a huge surprise!!! They are so excited, and Kathryn can't wait to meet her new friend!!

you know, for such a rocky start... you really are a nice person, very encouraging

no, I wasn't trying to get under your skin or on your nerves (both of those sound really gross when you think about actually doing it, but then, if you think about it, isn't that the same thing?)

anyway, it wasn't meant to be rude, though I can totally see how you would come to that conclusion.

so

I was just saying that you used to not be so encouraging

and the encouragement is nice

okay, okay, I get it... you were just messin' with me.

"thanks" and I believe the blog will keep the same name.

What a beautiful little girl. Did anyone ever tell you she looks just like her dad? It must be great having her to chase around and getting all that exercise. Just think of all the time and money you are saving by not having to go to the gym.

hehe!! Unfortunately, I don't think it takes the place of excercise :). I don't hear that she looks like her Dad too much anymore! What I hear now is that she exactly like her cousins :).

after much thought, probably too much, I decided that I did indeed like it and would leave it up longer than just a day... but I think I will go ahead and put a one week limit on it

has Jen told you the GREAT news???

SHE'S NOW A GMAILER!!!

Creth said...

no, I don't have any special insight into your behaviors...

I'd say that we're all pretty messed up and sometimes, sometimes we actually realize it (most often in others...)

Hang in there Micah and keep up the great work! I am sure it is not easy being a mom, but from what I have seen you sure are doing a great job at it. Kathryn and I have been talking and she thinks the same thing :-)

Kate is growing up so quickly. I need to come see you all.
Quick question...what all do you put in your pot roast? I know, its kind of a weird question. You can just email me back or call me - either way.

Howdy, Brad! Stumbled across this page whilst browsing pleonast. Had no clue that you were a father... all these peers having kids sure makes me feel old!

was I incorrect with what I stated on Christian's blog?

I totally love how you saw "I want CD" because I would have seen the same thing and now I totally want to buy a CD!

yes, "Dead Sea fruit" is great... when I first read that I thought, "now there isn't any 'fruit' there... I don't remember any..." and then I realized that that's pretty much what she's sayin'

unless you count a big clump of salt as "fruit"

Ever heard of posting something new? :)

anonymous speaks with a heavy tone for someone who hasn't a name or prefers to walk without one

who's the author?

(I've always wondering this... is it you? or is it Kathryn?)

and about the quote, very true. and yet, as the day before it read... isn't the heart the place of our true existence?
