We had Kathryn's 1st Birthday party yesterday! She had been sick from Thursday to about Saturday, so needless to say, having 30 people over to watch her tear into her birthday cake was a little overwhelming. Of course she did not "perform" like she was supposed to :), but she did pretty good considering. Much food and fun was had by all!

She was not too sure about her cake, but cousin Cozy loved it :o). We actually forced her to eat a bite, and she started crying... Surely she is not related to me!
Brad was in charge of the cake for all of the guests, so of course he chose an ice cream cake from DQ 
She wasn't too thrilled about her gifts at the time, but after everyone left, and she woke up from her nap, she played, and played, and played!

Very cute pictures! Looked like ya'll had lots of fun. Matt and I got the pictures from Italy developed and there were some wedding shower pictures on there as well--four or five of them were of Kate. They were very sweet.
